Debra Lynn Clark, went to be with the Lord, May 29, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born November 3, 1956 in Pine Bluff to W.W. Lunsford and Alta Worthen Lunsford. She was a 1975 graduate of Sheridan High School. Debbie came to know the Lord on June 7, 1973 at Cedar Branch Church in the junior room. She married the love of her life, Terry Clark on July 18, 1975.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 1995, and later attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville to pursue for Masters of Education, which she completed in 2008. She was able to do what she loved in her career, she had a real love for teaching and education. She started her love of education teaching in Special Education at Sheridan and ended her career in retirement at SEARK adult education leading young people to completing her high school diploma and encouraging them to further their education into college. She was also an advocate for self-defense, teaching Taiho-Ryu Karate to young people with her husband. An avid reader and writer, with many of her publications published in the newspaper. Elvis Presley’s biggest fan and a lover of all animals, especially her sweet dog Blaze. In December every year you will find Terry and Debbie enjoying their community and selling Christmas trees to people from miles around.
She was preceded in death by her father W.W. Lunsford, and her mother Alta Worthen Lunsford. She is survived by her husband Terry Clark; a brother Charles Lunsford and wife Becky, sister Edith Oates and husband Jerry. She will be greatly missed by her two sons Nicholas Clark and wife Kari and Matthew Clark; her two granddaughters which were the light of her life, Madison Vines and husband Cody and Raylee Clark; a special young man Michael Thomas whom she considered as her third son, and a number of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
