Debra L. Carmack Wagner, 42, of Chesterfield, passed away on October 16, 2013, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on June 6, 1971, to Linda and David Carmack in Anderson. Debbie attended Anderson High School, and she was employed by Madison County Credit Union.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Carmack, father, David Debbie Carmack, children, Alexander Samantha Wagner, Shelby Wagner, Tyler Wagner, grandson, Cole Wagner “The Sunshine of her life”, former husband, James Wagner, grandmother, Hettie Lee Smith, brothers, David B. Carmack Jr., Carman Carmack, and special nephew, Elijah Carmack. Also, surviving are her Uncle Rex Becky Smith, Aunt Debra Delp, Aunt Denise Halgis, Aunt Paula John Sasser, Uncles Bart, Bret, Michael, Bernard, and Ricky Carmack, Aunt Debbie Roger Rigdon, Aunt Vickie Wilson, Uncle Jimmy Gladis Carmack, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also, surviving are special friends, Darrin and Majenica Nelson, Trampas and Karrie Fetters, Jason Causbie, and Amanda Follmar.
She was preceded in death by her first child, Philip Wagner, grandparents, Bill and Vivian Carmack, grandfather, Charles Smith, and Uncle LNC Cpl. Carman Keaton Hicks who was killed in South Vietnam in 1967, cousin, Chelse Sasser, cousin, Marcus Crabbe, uncle Dennis Smith, and uncle Raymond Reynolds. Debbie was loved by many! She loved life, and she loved spending time with her children. She loved the sun and the beach. She was very proud of all her children’s accomplishments. Her grandson, Cole, was the light of her life. She was a Chicago Bears, and Cubs fan. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
