Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; Debra L. Meggs, age 67 of Tuscaloosa, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022 while surrounded by those she loved.
She was known as Gran Gran to her family, Debbie to others, and a friend to all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Erik Stephens and her mother Roma Duncan and her father Woodrow Duncan.
She is survived by her dear husband, Ray Meggs, her son Alex Meggs, and her grandchildren Gavin and Luke Stephens. As well as Wyatt, Sawyer, Clarissa, and Quinon Meggs.
She loved more than anything her family. But was also fond of gardening, her apple trees, the leaves in autumn, pumpkins, warm coffee on cold mornings, soft socks, taking care of her hummingbirds; She brought light to many people’s lives, and left a mark on all those who knew her.
