Debra Joan Hughes, of Sharpsburg GA danced into the arms of our loving God on Monday, November 1, 2021. Joan is survived by her husband of 36 years, Doug Hughes, daughter Sherry Gossett (Jeff), Son Shawn Hughes (Tiffany), her Grandchildren Sydney Baker, Dylan Hughes, Ella Gossett, Alisa Gossett, Johnny Gossett, nieces and nephews. Joan was born on September 20, 1946 in Linden Tennessee to Jess & Verna Choate. Joan was a school teacher for over 30 years before her retirement in 2006. Joan is preceded in death by her parents Jess & Verna Choate, her brother Hollis Moore and her son Gary Adkins Jr.
