Debra Anne DeRosa of Franklin, TN and formerly of Staten Island, New York, passed away on September 26, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born in Manhattan on August 12, 1968 the daughter of the late Jimmie DeRosa and Madeline Kelly DeRosa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vinny DeRosa and her husband, John Salvatore Romano, who died suddenly on July 23, 2016. Ms. DeRosa was a receptionist at the law firm, Mayer, Brown & Platt in Manhattan. She and her husband, John moved to Tennessee in October 2008, but her heart was always in New York. She enjoyed writing poetry, watching Court shows, and dearly loved her fur dog, Weolfie and cat, Cassie. She is survived by her beloved son, Jesse Lenihan; sisters, Lorraine Giunta, Josephine Ziel and Angela Comisi and special friends, Joann and Tony Somma, Mindy Edelman, Lacey Johnson, and Sandra and Fred Presley.
