Age 60 of St. Charles passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan.The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 9:00pm with a Celebration of Life at 9:00pm.Debra was born on June 15, 1958 to Joseph H. and Mary L. (Crawley) Earegood in Flint. She spent her life as a loving homemaker, and she worked as a Department Manager at Meijer for many years. During her life, Debra enjoyed bird watching, playing Bingo, and going to garage sales. She spent numerous years as a Volunteer at Beecher Community Schools as a lunch monitor, and was an active member of Buell Schools PTO. She also loved cooking, especially for the holidays, and sharing a good debate with people.Debra is survived by her children, David Tait Jr., John J. Tait (Cathy Lynch), and Michael T. Tait; her granddaughter, Alexa E. Tait; her siblings, Joseph H. (Sarah) Earegood, Michael E. (Jeanyne) Earegood, Lori (Mike) Trstenjak, and John Earegood; and her significant other, Darrell “Beast” Hoover.She is predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Van Earegood.Debra’s final act of kindness in life was donating her corneas to the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
