Debra Sue Anderson, 51, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Deb was born April 8, 1962 in Chariton, Iowa the daughter of Perry Klages and Helen Nash.
She attended South East Warren High School graduating with the class of 1980.
She has lived in Lucas County most of her life.
Deb was an exceptional baker and loved to bake for any occasion, being especially known for her homemade bread and apple butter.
Deb loved to go on vacations, she was especially fond of Black Hills, South Dakota.
She worked at Lucas Products, Deflecta Shield, and Diamond Crystal Brands as the warehouse manager, for the past 14 years.
Deb was a hard worker who enjoyed her job where she made many great friends who always requested her to make her pumpkin bars.
Deb was married to Rodger Anderson, and to this union, they had one daughter, Nicole Lynn.
She raised her niece, Shawna Rae, as one of her own for many years.
Deb was engaged to the love of her life, Lance Donahue, who took care of her throughout her illness.
She is preceded in death by her father, Perry Klages, Grandparents, and niece, Shelly.
Deb is survived by her finance, Lance Donahue of Chariton; daughters, Nikki (Brian) Mundy of Lacona; Shawna (Mike) Wiebers of Des Moines; Megan Donahue of Liberty Center, Sara (Craig) Swanson of Des Moines;
grandchildren, Raedon and Jacob of Des Moines; Anna and Leigha of Des Moines;
parents, Helen (Craig) Nash of Lacona;
sisters, Joann Chester of Chariton, Cathy (Larry) Mumford of Lorimor; brothers, Perry (Cean) Klages, Bob Klages, Wayne (Lori) Klages all of Lacona, and a host of nieces and nephews.
