Deborah Jean Babb, 68, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 11, 2020..M….M. until 3:00 P.M.. Debbie, as she was affectionately called, was born November 19, 1951, in Water Valley, the daughter of the late Clarence David and Melmar Lavern Sayles Smith. Debbie was a Graduate of Water Valley High School and attended Northwest Community College. She was a legal secretary for Horan and Horan Law Firm. Debbie was an active member of Anchor Baptist Church. She also participated in the Explorers Bible Study at First Baptist Church. Spending time with her family was important to Debbie. She thoroughly cherished the time spent with her kids and granddaughter. Debbie enjoyed traveling and especially loved girl trips with her sisters.Debbie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Babb of Oxford; daughter, Tabitha Edwards-Jackson (Brad J) of Oxford; two sons, Brad Babb (Dezra) of Fort Dodge, IA and Keith Babb of Oxford; granddaughter, Braden Jackson of Oxford; two Sisters, Carol Posey of Lebanon, MO and Sherry S. Riley of Mobile, . Babb’s memory be made to Anchor Baptist Church, 1009 MS Highway 7, Water Valley, MS 38965, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O.
