Deborah “Debbie” Sue Friedrich, 63 of Centralia, passed away March 13, 2015 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL.She was born August 22, 1951 in Woodriver Township, Madison County, IL, daughter of James L. “Dewey” Wolverton and Dorothy Leota (Stone) Wolverton.
She married Larry D. Friedrich, on April 3, 1971, in Douglas County and he survives in Centralia.In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is also survived by her mother, two daughters: Shannon McDaneld and husband Chris of Kell and Rebecka Wacker and husband Jon of Hoyleton; five grandchildren: Dustin Friedrich and wife Rachel of Fort Benning, GA, Dakota McDaneld of Kell, Jacob, Joseph and Kortney Wacker all of Hoyleton; two great-granddaughters: Madalyn and Harper; three sisters: Donna Miller of Broadlands, Teresa Carney and husband Will of Monticello, and Tracey Pankau and husband David of Effingham; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; two special friends: Becky Pearce and Shawn Morado.
She was preceded in death by her father, a sister: Bonnie Wiese-Logan and a friend, Pat Perry.Debbie was a life member of AVVA Chapter 176. Her hobbies include fishing, deer hunting, loved to pick blackberries and pecans, watch old movies, her dry humor and quick wit, connect with friends on Facebook, made the best fudge, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
