Deborah Ann McCoy, nee Schwartz, 58, of O’Fallon, IL passed away on November 25, 2015, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Deborah was born on May 15, 1957, in Toledo, OH.
Deborah obtained her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Masters degree. She honorably served in the United States Air Force achieving the rank of Sergeant. In the Air Force, Deborah was a mechanic on jet engines, yet she could not change her own oil. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, enjoyed her retail therapy, adored her grandsons, and enjoyed speaking on the phone to her family and friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Shirley Schwartz, nee Price; sister Rose Mary Schwartz and mother-in-law Doris McCoy. She is survived by her husband Mark McCoy, of O’Fallon, IL; children, Johanna (Charles) Manbeck of Salt Lake City, UT, and Sean McCoy of Fort Riley, KS; brother Stewart Schwartz; grandsons Jacob Dominguez and Gene Manbeck; Aunt, Pat Flatley, a niece, and many nephews and cousins.
