Deborah “Debbie” Louise Luebbert, 46
Debbie was born on February 23, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. She was the second child of William and Alexina (Ena) Gracie but the first child to be born in America following their immigration from the United Kingdom. Debbie grew up in Dallas with a passion for swimming, soccer, figure skating, and riding horses. She loved animals and brought home every stray dog and cat that she came in contact with in our Dallas neighborhood.
During the summer of 1982 she met the love of her life, James Luebbert, and the couple wed on October 13, 1984. She had three children, James Jr., Jeremy, and Jacqueline, who were the apples of her eye.
Debbie and James moved their young family to Niceville, Florida in May 1989, where they raised their children.
Debbie’s life became even brighter with the arrival of her first grandchild in 2007, soon followed by two more. Emily, Faith and Lily were spoiled rotten by grandmother and they will deeply miss her.
Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved son James R (Jimbo) Luebbert Jr., from whose death she never truly healed. She is survived by her husband, James, children, Jeremy and Jacqueline, grandchildren, Emily, Faith, and Lily, parents, William and Alexina Gracie, sister, Carol Pennington, and several in-laws and nieces and nephews.
