Deborah Louise (LaRiviere) Wambach, 60, of Huachuca City, Arizona, passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday, April 9th, 2020.
Deborah was born on August 17, 1959 to Francis H. and Mary Louise (LeCour) LaRiviere in Worcester, MA. She was raised in Massachusetts, and that is where she met and married the love of her life, Steven Frederick Wambach on April 2, 1977. Together they raised a strong family, making connections with everyone they crossed paths with while Steven was stationed in Ft. Polk, LA, Mannheim, Germany, Ft. Sill, OK, Ft. Devens, MA and finally when the family happily retired at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
Debbie was a crafty woman who, among other things enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She took great pride in making baby blankets for all the family and friends of the family to welcome their little ones into the world. Her devotion to her family and everyone in her life was unquestioned. She loved each and every one of her “kids,” as she considered every young person she came across as one of her kids.
Deborah is survived by her mother, Mary L. LaRiviere, her loving children, daughter Crystal; and her sons Pete Sr and her grandsons, Diego and Isaiah; and Steven Jr, his wife Michelle, and her grandson, Steven III. Other survivors include her brothers, Fred (Marylou) LaRiviere, Jim (Katy) LaRiviere, Phil (Maureen) LaRiviere, Daniel (Cindy) LaRiviere, and Joe (Faye) LaRiviere; Ann Dreyer, Kim Ceccarini, Carol Evans, Denyse Moran, Larry Wambach, James Wambach and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and all of the kids and adults that she was like a second mother or grandmother for throughout her time on this Earth.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steven Wambach, who passed in December of 2006; her father Francis LaRiviere; her sister Rose; brother-in-law Daniel Wambach, and her grandson Pete Jr.
