Deborah Laura Jenkins Perron

Deborah Laura Jenkins Perron was born in St. Petersburg, Florida February 15, 1942 to the late Marvyn Louise Johnson Jenkins and the late George Curtis Jenkins.
Deborah attended her primary school years at Douglas Anderson, St. Pius Catholic School and Isaiah Blocker Jr. High. She graduated from New Stanton Senior High, Class of 1959.
Deborah was a respected advocate who cared deeply about the welfare of children and families for over 30 years. She was awarded the honor of School Social Worker of the Year through the Florida Association of School Social Workers and Social Worker of the Year through the National Association of Social Workers, Jacksonville Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Jenkins Crooms and husband, Frank Edward Perron, Sr.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Monique Fuentes; grandson, David Fuentes, Jr.
Deborah also leaves behind to cherish her memory a beloved and dedicated caregiver, Rebecca Morrison.
