Deborah Kristin (Lien) Kirby died on January 26th at 4:55pm. Deb was born on May 2nd, 1950 to Arthur and Velma Lien of Webster City, Iowa. She joined her brother Michael Lien at home. Deb attended Webster City Schools and graduated in the class of 1968. She also attended Iowa Central Community College earning a clerical Associate’s Degree. She married Dean Albrecht in 1972. The couple had two children Shane (Katie) Albrecht and Kimberly (Jacob) Kent. The couple later divorced and in 1984 she married Dean Kirby of Lohrville, Iowa.
Deb worked at a few different places throughout her life: Hamilton County Treasons Office, Bearing Suppy, Snyder Implement and Charles Loeck, DDS. She enjoyed talking with people and scheduling people to help provide a great customer experience.
She loved her family and quilting friends as well as scrapbooking and gnome-making. She enjoyed the holidays with her family and cooking big meals. She also traveled to many quilt shows and retreats to spend time with her friends. She moved to Castle Rock, Co 6 years ago to be closer to family and lived with her daughter and family until her death.
She is survived by her two children Shane and Kimberly. Deb leaves behind 7 grandchildren (Alexis, Braeden, and Alisen Albrecht), (Natalie and Preston Kent), Amanda (Ben) Kennedy and Justin Kirby), one great grandson, Harvey Kennedy. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband and granddaughter, Amanda Albrecht.
