Deborah Kay Moore – Sinclair, 58, of Cassopolis, was called home peacefully Thursday morning, October 3, 2013, in her son’s residence in the presence of her loving family. Debora was born April 17, 1955, in Niles, Michigan to Ezekiel and Mable (Christopher) Sinclair. Her parents preceded her in death.
Debora was known for always having a smile on her face. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Debora liked to dance and play Bingo. One her first passions was singing, and she took seriously the job of directing the church choir. Mom knew the Lord. Debora will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbrena (Robert) Curtis of Vandalia; two sons, Hilbert Allen (Shirley) Evans and Cecil Byrd III, both of Cassopolis; five grandchildren, Melvin Moore, Jr., of Union, Robert Curtis, Jr., Kelvin Curtis, and Daniel Curtis, all of Vandalia, Hilbert Evans, Jr., of Cassopolis, Cameron Byrd of Mishawaka; one great granddaughter, Amarionah Curtis; five sisters, Marcia Suggs of Cassopolis, Delores English of Cassopolis, Donna Goodwin of Elkhart, Darlene (Alonzo) Glover of Cassopolis, Beverly Pompey of Cassopolis; two brothers, Ricky Sinclair of Mendon, Robert Sinclair of Elkhart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
