Deborah Kay Ruckman, age 56, of Salem, WV passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at J W Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born December 24, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Ralph Ball and Frances (Dean ) Ball.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 19 ½ years, J.O. Ruckman of Salem, WV; four daughters, Kimberly Dawn Pritt of Salem, WV, Lisa Marie Pennington & her companion, Brian Myers of Lumberport, WV, Shaley Ann Ruckman of Salem, WV and McKenzie Marie Ruckman of Salem, WV; son, James Richard Pennington & his wife, Michelle of Weston, WV; nine grandchildren, Madison Paige Maxwell, Kaylee Shyann Pritt, Brianna Hope Pritt, Azzlynn Grace Gain, Zoey Raine Pennington, Isis Snow Pennington, Aliester Frost Pennington, Ava Raylynn Myers and Aza Zariah Myers; two brothers, Donald L. Ball of Clarksburg, WV, Michael W. Ball & his wife, Mary of Mt Clare; eight sisters, Betty J. Kemp of Redmond, OR, Eleanor L. Green & her husband, Charles of Simpson, Nancy M. Green of Grafton, WV, Patricia A. Miles of Rosemont, Helen M. Stuart & her husband, Bradley of Philippi, WV, Peggy J Stout & her husband, Gary of Lumberport, WV , Rebecca J. Varne of Clarksburg, WV, and Sandra K Barron of Salem, WV; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Olivia Faith Pritt; brother, Robert Harris Ball; a sister, Karen Sue Cunningham; three nephew, Matthew Cross, Raymond Christopher Ruckman and Jeremy Phillips.
Deborah worked for Gabriel Brothers. She was a member of the Rushing Wind Ministries in Spelter.
