Deborah K. Coan, 68, of Nazareth died Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus, Easton. She was the beloved wife of Rev. Kevin M. Coan with whom she celebrated 45 years of marriage on August 27, 2022. Born in Moline, IL, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Roger and Phyllis (Johnson) Davidson. A 1971 graduate of and former cheerleader at Wachussett Regional High School, Holden, MA, she received her Bachelors Degree in early childhood education form Worcester State College in 1975. Prior to the birth of her daughter, Deborah was a teacher at Wachussett Valley Christian School, Holden, MA. After her children were raised, she was a home health aide for Helping Hand, Vernon, CT. Over the years, Deborah has been active in Bible study fellowship and served on committees in the various churches where her husband was called to serve. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Easton. An excellent cook, Deborah enjoyed being a hostess to family and friends.
Survivors: Husband; daughter, Rachael L. Wilson and her husband John of Nazareth; son, Caleb N. Coan and his wife Vanessa of Berlin, CT; sisters, Jill Davidson-Moffie and husband Gary of Beverly, MA, Robin Davidson-Catalano and husband Greg of Acton, MA; brother-in-law, Mark Abresch of Peach Tree City, GA; grandchildren, Abigail Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Micah Wilson; nieces; nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Kirsten Abresch.
