With profound sadness we announce the passing of Deborah Jeanne Romick Schultz, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. On September 6th, 2021 she passed due to diabetes complications. She was surrounded by her daughters. 

Debbie was born on August 21st, 1951 in San Francisco, California to Kenneth and Mabel Romick. She was married in the Oakland Temple to her husband Mark Schultz on July 11th 1985.

 

Debbie was the loving mother of 10 children, grandmother of 21 grandchildren and great grandmother of 1 great granddaughter. Her life was dedicated to helping those around her and teaching. She graduated with her Master in Education from Cal State Hayward and touched the lives of many of her students during her 15- year career as a special education teacher. 

She was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life was one of service to others and exemplified unconditional love to those around her. 

 

Debbie is survived by her husband Mark Schultz, her mother Mabel Romick, her children, Michael Wright, Sean Wright, Pamela Cannaday, Katherine Wolf, Alan Schultz, Elizabeth Wright, Jeff Schultz, Brian Schultz, Karl Schultz, and Kristina Brown, her sister Julie McKillip, and her brothers Kevin, Keith, and Kenneth Romick. 

She loved greatly and was loved by all those who knew her. She will be sorely missed.
