Deborah Jeanine Carter was born on July 8, 1952, to Robert L and Velva “Cutie” Carter in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in a loving home and was the fifth born out of seven children. Deborah was educated in the Denver Public Schools system. She attended Barrett Elementary, Gove Jr High, and was a proud graduate from Denver East High School class of 1970. She pursued higher education at Colorado State University where she studied English.
God placed a calling on Deborah heart at an early age.
