Deborah K. Hoffman, 69, of Milford, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2022 after courageously fighting a long illness. She was surrounded by family, including her four children, and husband Paul of 46 years. Born on April 7, 1953 in Milford, CT she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Kane.
A devoted wife, mother, Memaw and friend to so many. Debs lived between Milford and Orange her entire life. In addition to raising her family, she first had a career as an X-Ray technician before returning to school at the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing to earn her Bachelors in Nursing. She then practiced as a pediatric nurse at Bridgeport Hospital. Debs was a caretaker to all and never hesitated to help someone in need. A diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, she loved watching “her boys” play. She was happiest at the beach surrounded by friends and family, and always had a coffee in her hand. She loved Christmas and spreading Christmas magic, and would decorate to the nines for every holiday or occasion. She was an expert shopper and especially loved to find special gifts for her grandchildren.
Survived by her children Peter K. Hoffman (Kim Hoffman), Kelly Parks (Jerry Parks), Kimberly Collibee (Matthew Collibee), Derek Hoffman (Lisette Hoffman); her seven beloved grandchildren; brother Joseph “Kelly” Kane (Susan Kane) and her many nieces and nephews. Was preceded in death by brother, Arthur “Tex” Kane and sister, Lorraine “Rainy” Sommers.
