Deborah “Debbie” Inez Buffington, 57, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away February 7, 2022 at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’ Alene. She was born September 19, 1964 in Anderson, South Carolina; Debbie was the daughter of John Billy and Lucille Alice (Sprankle) Buffington.
Debbie attended and graduated from the Big Sky High School of Missoula, Montana. She moved to the Silver Valley in 2004 from Spokane, Washington.
Debbie loved craft work and created many beautiful things; while residing at Mountain Valley of Cascadia of Kellogg, she helped decorate for holidays and special occasions and taught art classes. Debbie was also in charge of movie night at Mountain Valley and was honored as “Resident of the year”. She loved and enjoyed her family and was affectionately known as “Queen Debbie The Magnificent” to her nieces and nephews.
Debbie is survived by two sisters Kristine “Kris” Harr of Kellogg, Stephanie Buffington of Spokane, Washington; one brother David Morris (Venus) also of Spokane; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents John “Billy” and Lucille.
