Deborah “Debbie” Vest Brooks, 66, Campbellsburg, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Reva Stivers Vest and the late Bobby Ray Vest, Sr. She was previously employed at Money Now. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, drawing and gardening. She was a member of Indian Fork Baptist Church in Bagdad.
In addition to her father, one daughter, Angela “Angie” Brooks; her brother-in-law, Charles Stanley Brooks and her sister-in-law, Georgia Ellen Wyatt, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Dennie “Denny” Brooks of Campbellsburg; her daughter, Chrystal Lynn Cottrell of Turners Station; her son, Randy Scott Brooks (Stephanie) of Bagdad; her mother, Reva Stivers Vest of Bagdad; her brother, Bobby Ray Vest, Jr. (Rita) of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Gabriel Cottrell, Riley Cottrell, Brittany Robinson and Courtney Tracy; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Robinson and Chloe King; four sisters-in-law, Carol Sanford (Donnie), Darlene Arrington (Randy), Sharon Ritchey and Alice Wilson, all of Shelbyville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
