Debbie Lynn Smith, 58, of Mitchell died at5:25 p.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Tipton. She had worked for Verizon and graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1972. She was born on April 28, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Elijah and RuthAnn Grandstaff Bentley.
Survivors include a son, Nathan Smith, of Indianapolis; a daughter, Jennifer Thieke, of Noblesville; a brother, GaryBentley of Crawfordsville; a sister, CathyPriebe, of Mitchell; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, NeldaHester.
