Deanna Joan Worthington, 84, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022, surrounded by family during her final days.
Deanna moved to Arizona in 1981 where she fell in love with the beautiful desert and the warm Arizona sun. She was a very beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law, sister and aunt.. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Deanna was the fourth of eleven children of Vivian Dean and Marie Rose Backus of Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her children Karen DiBenedetto (Albert), Gregory Krumm (Michelle), four adoring granddaughters, along with four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Christie Krumm Wirostek, sons Peter Krumm and Philip Krumm. Surviving siblings are John (Mary) Backus, Thomas Backus, Mary Ann (Paul) Karinen, David (Brenda) Backus, Robert (Sharon) Backus and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Deanna will be included in the Mass of Remembrance at Our Lady of Joy, Carefree AZ, November 5, 2022 at 10am.
