Deane Hall, 91, of Boise, passed away peacefully at her home on November 14, 2015.
She was born on March 6, 1924 in Preston, Idaho. She was the eighth of nine children born to David Greaves Eames and Pearl Lorena Geddes. She was named after her grandmother, Dora Neiley Geddes. In school, kids started teasing her about her name, Dora, so she started going by her middle name of Dean but spelled it D-e-a-n-e to make it feminine.
She attended the University of Arizona for 2 ½ years and also a business school in Tucson.
On September 1, 1946 she married the love of her life, Grant B. Hall in the Eames family home. A great event in her life was when she and Grant went to the Idaho Falls LDS temple on August 28, 1964 to take out their own endowments and be sealed to each other for time and all eternity. They had the privilege of having their four children sealed to them the same day.
Deane was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; son, Kent Hall; and husband, Grant Hall. She is survived by daughters, Karen Ryals of Caldwell and Deborah Hall of Boise; son, Wade (Joan) Hall of Boise; five grandchildren, Michele Ryals, Shaun (Kristie) Ryals, David (Telena) Hall, Natricia (Scott) Christopherson, Kimberley (Jake) Butterfield; and eleven great grandchildren.
