DeAndre Marquece Smith, 21, of Germantown, Maryland (a.k.a. Rae Rae, Dre Dre, Zella Ziona), suddenly departed this life on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, Maryland. Deandre was born on July 1, 1994 to Tyshika Smith and Charles Smith. He was a 2012 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, Germantown, MD.
DeAndre “Zella Ziona” hobbies include singing, dancing, clowning around (always the “center of attention” wherever he was. His smile was infectious able to brighten your day, a family jewel, always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, or anyone in need. He was very loving, and could do some “cooking- in fact he was known to be to “COOK in the Kitchen, always whipping up a his famously created meals American and Caribbean dishes for all to enjoy! He was truly a gifted and talented individual with many trades in fashion design, makeup artist, — in fact, “Zella Ziona” was always on point with her many outfits of fashion and flawless hair and nails! Zella loved to dance and enjoyed making people laugh, in every sense he was the life of the party.
DeAndre is survived by a mother, Tyshika Smith; father, Charles Smith; three brothers; a grandfather, Ronald Jackson; one uncle, Jeron Jackson; aunt, Margaret Smith and a host of other relatives and friends. DeAndre was preceded in death by a grandmother, Jeannette Jackson; great grandmother, Gloria Carter; two grandfathers, Howard Carter and Charles Thompson; uncle, Chris Smith; great uncle, Charles Thompson, Jr. and Oswal Braitwith.
