Dean T Bennett

BRIGHAM CITY – Dean T Bennett, 80 passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
Dean was born on March 10, 1935 in Preston, Idaho a son of Ila Mae Talbot and Carl Lurlene Bennett.
He served in the Army National Guard Reserves.
Dean married Aleda Gayle Burton on June 30, 1960 in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served faithfully in various callings. Dean and his wife Gayle enjoyed serving in the Ogden Temple together.
Dean attended BYU, graduated from Utah State with his Bachelors and the University of Utah with his Masters Degree. He was a Biology Teacher for 33 years and retired from Box Elder High School, where he loved the students he taught.
Dean enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, gardening, and keeping his yard immaculate.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Gayle Bennett, children: Gaedene (Scott) Jensen, American Fork; Rodney (Kimberly) Bennett, Honeyville; Randall (DeeAnne) Bennett, Roosevelt; Clair (Shannon) Bennett, Spanish Fork; Casey (Katie) Bennett, Brigham City; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also siblings: Wayne-deceased (Dixie) Bennett, Ellen (William) Dennis, Lenna (Curtis) Nelson, Lyle (Bonnie-deceased) Bennett, Clyde Bennett and Letha Bennett.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne.
