Dean Edward Swindell, age 62 of Wamac, IL, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on July 5, 2015 at his home. Dean was born on July 12, 1952 in Centralia, the son of Grady and Patricia (Coyne) Swindell.
Dean is survived by three sons, Shawn Diehl and wife Susan of Centralia, Shane Swindell of Cottonwood, AZ, and Ronnie Jansen of St. Louis, MO; two sisters Helen Abernathy and husband Rick of Centralia, and Leanna Swindell of Irvington; one nephew, Roger Campbell and fiancé Daniele Hayes of Centralia; and special care givers Vickie Diehl and Jerry Donaldson, both of Centralia. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Grady Swindell; and one sister Paula Swindell. Dean was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed his daily lottery tickets and spending time with his family.
