Dean R. Cary, 82, of rural Virginia, IL died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at his home.
He was born December 4, 1934 in Burkesville, KY, the son of Medford “Med” and Edna Vibbert Cary. He married Florence Cox on October 10, 1953 at the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian parsonage in rural Virginia and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons, Roger Cary of Beardstown and Tim Cary (wife, Debbie) of Virginia; a daughter, Diann Morgan of Virden; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Legora Brunk (husband, John) of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gene Cary.
Dean was a life-long farmer including 37 years of employment with Brockhouse Farms in Cass County. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting squirrels, mushrooms, and ginseng.
