Dean Earl Beard, 97, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in Lakeland. Dean was born on January 13th, 1925 in Dana, Indiana to Charles and Myrtle Beard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Betty Beard, older brother and sister Robert Beard and Nina Douglas.
Lakeland was home to Dean since 1959. Dean is a US Navy veteran of both WWII and the Korean War. Although Dean had many jobs in his lifetime, he was most proud of Beard Realty that he co-owned with his wife Betty and Beard Marine A/C & Refrigeration that he co-founded with his son Larry.
Dean is survived by his sons Mike, Larry, and Scott. As well as 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
