Dean C. Youngkeit
Dean Clifford Youngkeit passed away on the evening of January 14 2014 after a long struggle with diabetes. Dean was born October 22 1934 in Anaheim California to Herman August and Cecil Messenger Youngkeit (Jungkeit). He was raised in California and moved to Utah with his family in 1961. He boasted about being an employee at Disneyland on opening day. He served in the California National guard and discharged as a 2nd LT. He had a 32 year career at Thiokol where he developed numerous aerospace patents. He enjoyed volunteering for the 2002 Olympics as an usher. He was a long time resident of Willard, Utah. He is survived by his wife Janie and Children Diane, Jason and (Andrea), Deena and (Bennington), Jared and (Catherine), Deedre and (Jake), Jonathan Jason (J.J.), Mark, Patti, and Michelle and (Grant). He is also survived by his brother Danny and numerous special nieces and nephews. He had 23 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
