Dean Jones was a member of Central Baptist Church and lifetime resident of Springville, Alabama. He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Era Jones and sister, Patty Sue Jones. He leaves behind his wife Julia M. Jones, two sons; Artie (Dianne) Jones and Dean Alan (Lauri) Jones, five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; April (Drew Mizell) Jones, Abri, Tristan, Granger, Annlee, Brent; Rick (Kim) Jones, Justin, Julia; Deandrea (Jonathan) Hayes, Jaden, James Dean, Forrest, Lily; Martin (Leslie) Jones, Renee, Rachel; Grant (Felicia) Jones, Hayden, Hudson. He also leaves behind a sister, Sally (Johnny) House and brother, Micky (Joyce) Jones, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. Dean Jones was known as a quiet man who loved fishing with his friends, his morning coffee times at the local Jacks and love for the University of Alabama Football. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his garden and farm. His wife and family will miss his laugh, smile and gentle spirit. But to all who knew him, he will be remembered as a Christian man who loved the Lord.
