Dayle Nash Lipe, 75, of Troutman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Iredell County on June 9, 1935 to Arleene Nash Lipe and the late Henry Hoyle Lipe and was married to the late Vernell Elmore Lipe. He attended Statesville City schools and was self-employed as an automotive mechanic.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Chris D. Lipe (Karen) of Statesville; a daughter, Lori Lipe, of the home; three sisters, Leta Goforth (D.W.) and Nell Pope, both of Statesville, and Sue Cook of Mocksville; and three grandchildren, Mason Hollifield, Cole Lipe and Kendell Lipe.
In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ometta Harris.
