Danvers, MA- Dawson B. Frock, age 53 passed away on Monday, October 26th.
Son of Dawson Frock of New York, (deceased) and Deborah Hill Frock of Illinois. Brother to Spencer Frock (deceased) He is survived by his life partner Susan Moore and her two children Emily and Kate, and his brother Ethan Frock, Ethan’s wife Kate and Ethan’s two children Samuel and Grace.
After graduating high school Dawson served as a cook in the Navy from 1990-1994. He continued to follow his passion graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Culinary Arts. He worked at many restaurants around New England but spent the majority of his career as Executive Chef in private golf clubs. Outside of work, Dawson spent his time on various ski mountains of VT and NH. He was also involved with the alumni of Camp Tohkomeupog, a camp that both he and his brothers attended throughout much of their childhood.
The relationships he formed throughout his career went much beyond the scope of the job, Dawson was a mentor to many chefs and managers, always trying to leave a company a little better than it was when he got there. Dawson was a caring friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
