Michael Strawberry (1986 – 2013)
Dawonn Michael Strawberry left his physical vessel June 12, 2013, at the age of 27 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
He was born January 17, 1986, in Okinawa Japan. Dawonn was a lover of sports and participated in organized soccer,
baseball, football and basketball throughout his youth.
Dawonn was a technophile and loved all things electronic.
He was very outgoing and outwardly social and loved being the center of attention. He seemed to make friends
in the most unlikeliest of places. Dawonn was a motorhead and loved driving his sports cars. Dawonn oftentimes
went out of his way to help others, even to the dismay of normal logic. Dawonn continued his love for electronicsDawonn
at ITT, where he earned his associate’s degree in Computer and Electrical engineering. Dawonn will be dearly missed
within the Fort Walton Beach community and by his surviving family members.
Dawonn is survived by his parents,
Rodney and Loutrina Strawberry; his grandparents, Leola and James Brown, and Audrey Banks; his brothers,
Rodney Jones and Jijuan Pina; his sister, Shajuana Pina; his dear friends, including but not limited to, Lee Jordan,
David Ortiz, Chris Daniels, Jackie Hoff, Danielle Johnson, Eric Williams, Cody Dry, Jackie Cazzaly, and Bianca Rodriguez.
He is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, great-aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Banks, and Adeline and Robert Strawberry.
