Dawn Vaughan Smith, 41, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Dawn was born on August 6, 1971 in Jackson Mississippi to the late Videt Vaughan and Ollie Sue Boykin Vaughan. She was a lifelong resident of Rankin County, MS and was a Baptist.
During her illness, Dawn demonstrated grace and courage and her faith in Christ.
Survivors include her mother, Ollie Sue Vaughan of Pearl, MS; two sons, Stephen Vaughan Tucker and fiancé, Carolyn Toombs of Madison, MS and Tyler Mason Cook of Jackson, MS; sister, Donna Campbell and husband, Jeff of Brandon, MS; and one nephew, Jacob Campbell of Brandon, MS.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the Doctors and Nurses at University Medical Center.
