Dawn Renee Stedry, a resident of Bay City, Michigan, died on July 20, 2024 in the care of her family and Hazel Findlay in St. Johns, after a hard fought three month battle with cancer. She was 61 years old.Dawn was born in Saginaw on July 7, 1963, the daughter of Donald Stedry and Darleen (Reynolds) Stedry, and grew up in Vassar where she was a 1981 graduate of Vassar High School. She enjoyed a long career in health care administration.Dawn loved animals, nature, was adventurous and loved to travel, loved the mountains, and road trips. She also enjoyed her home where she took in movies, books, diamond painting, and being with with her daughters and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Stedry Sr., and is survived by her daughters, Chelsea (Bert) Gerber, Callie (Mike) Atkins, and Cabrina (Brian) Paksi; grandchildren, Avery, Grace, Elaina, Alex, Brian, Aubrey and Andrew; her mother, Darleen Stedry; brothers, Donald (Okee) Stedry II, Derrick Stedry, Daniel Stedry, and Robert (Kelly) White, her nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
