Dawn Michelle Storz of Parker, CO passed away on November 9, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
Dawn loved all animals, hiking, kayaking and, above all her family.
Dawn is survived by her husband Douglas Storz, her mother Delores Carter, her children Dylan Storz (Kelsey Davis), Joshua (Barb) Storz, Gabriel (Andrea) Storz, Daniel (Hannah) Storz, brother Scott (Lori) Alles, sisters Linda Carter, Rebecca Carter, Jane Halabi, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Dawn is predeceased by her father Duane Alles, stepfather Samuel Carter and brother Steven Alles.
Dawn enjoyed being in the outdoors – hiking new trails, kayaking beautiful lakes, or taking long walks with her beloved dogs. Her greatest joy was being able to share these passions with her friends and family. She was a giving, caring and selfless soul.
In the last six years, Dawn endured many health issues including a courageous fight against ovarian cancer. Despite her challenges, she was an eternal optimist with a commitment to “choose happy” every day. Laughter continued to be her gift as she never missed an opportunity to crack a joke.
