Dawn L. Basford, 70, of Manchester, NJ, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Born in Chicago, IL, she lived in Westerville, OH for 8 years and then Flemington, NJ for 24 years before moving to Manchester, NJ 10 years ago.
Dawn is survived by her husband of 44 years, John M. Basford, her children Mike Basford and his wife Melissa of Gahanna, OH, Michelle Nichol and her husband Steve of Toms River, NJ and Matt Basford and his wife Jenna of New York City, a brother Brian Talsma and sister Cheryl Redican of IL, and four loving grandchildren Madalyn, Trey, Lucas and Zoe.
She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Beverly Talsma.
She treasured her role as a Mother and Grandmother and devoted her life to her family. She was impeccable with dates and loved celebrating holidays and birthdays especially with her four grandchildren. Her kind heart and generous nature is going to be so greatly missed by her whole family.
