Dawn Anne (Nichols) Steil, the daughter of Dean C. and Theresa M. (Case) Nichols, was born on October 9, 1950, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1968.
On June 14, 1969, Dawn was united in marriage with Clem Steil in Eagle Grove.
Dawn was employed with W. Ken Stoakes Accounting of Goldfield for 20 years. In 1999, she retired due to Multiple Sclerosis.
