Davis “Rambo” Hendricks Ramseur, 61, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born August 30, 1950 in Statesville, he was the son of the late Mae Scott Ramseur and James Edgar Ramseur.
A graduate of Morning Side High School in Statesville, he was employed by Statesville Roofing Company.
Mr. Ramseur was of the Baptist faith.
He enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was a brother James Timothy Ramseur.
Survivors include his brothers, Richard Byers Ramseur of Statesville, Larry Eugene Ramseur (Geraldine) of Augusta, GA; sisters, Vikki Jones (Vernon) of Troutman, Loria Jackson (Trent) of Charlotte; aunt Emmie Scott Garrett of Statesville; and special cousin Marlene Palanque of Charlotte. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
