We are here to honor the life of Davis Dubroc who was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Davis was 85 years old and remained a lifelong resident of Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph “Joe” Dubroc and Duna Marie Guillot Dubroc and grandson of Ambrose Dubroc and Marguerite Inez Broussard Dubroc Ponthieux, all of Avoyelles Parish. He was the youngest of three siblings, Wade Dubroc and Wilbert Dubroc, also deceased. For over 40 years, Davis was the owner and operator of a family sawmill in St. Martin Parish and served in the US Army, earlier in life. He was a dedicated and devoted father and husband and lifelong Catholic. He loved being outdoors and never refused a request to help those in need, especially his family. He enjoyed working on home repair projects and automobiles (another lifelong passion). He was also an animal lover, and the most notable was his current beloved dog, Loulou Belle. His gift was bringing people together and it was the source of many fondly recalled stories. He will be remembered for his courage, humor and quick wit, humility, wisdom, strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his family and loved ones.

A caring family man, he is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Elaine Frances Lemoine Dubroc and five children: Blake Paul Dubroc (Melissa Breaux Dubroc), Donna Dubroc Robin, Patricia Ann Dubroc, Elaina Dubroc Edwards (John Edwards), and Davy Martin Dubroc (Jessica Theriot Dubroc). He was the grandfather of six children: Joelle Dubroc Lamperez (Gil Lamperez), Jacqueline Mary Francis Robin, Austin Cole Edwards, Wyatt Andrew Edwards, Ahna Angelle Dubroc, and Andre Michael Dubroc. He was the great-grandfather of two children: Joelle’s boys: Ashton and Ryder Palmisano.
