We must regretfully announce the death of David William Fowler. He passed on Tuesday, May
28th 2019. Born to Bill and Karen Fowler in Kansas City, then raised in Colorado where he
loved the ever-present outdoors and mountain views. Here he met his family and settled in
Centennial. David is survived by his loving wife Sheila, his son and daughter-in-law Thomas and
Emma, and his beloved grandson Oliver. He will be missed by his parents Bill and Jan Fowler,
sister Cheryl, brother and sister-in-law Chris and Kay, and sister and brother-in-law Darcy and
Jeremy. His Nieces and nephews Calvin, Becky, Katie, Tyler, and Zoey. He has touched
the lives of so many extended family and friends and will be greatly missed.
David proudly graduated from Colorado College in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree and a
distinction in Economics. He then went on to work as a database architect focusing on
telecommunications up and down the front range. Most recently he lent his talent to Centurylink.
For many years, David was involved with Akita rescue, frequently fostering several dogs at a
time. David recently experienced becoming a grandfather and quickly found that it was one of
his favorite things in the world. He will be dearly missed by all, particularly his dog Duffy.
