David Wendell Muncy, 67, passed away on July 20, 2018 at Methodist Hospital.
Dave was born Sept. 20, 1950 in San Antonio to Anna and Wendell Muncy. After graduating from Rice University, Dave joined the Navy where he was a nuclear sub sailor for 6 years. Dave finished his working career at ITT Tech as an instructor for 25 years. Retirement gave Dave the time to really learn to cook. He was smart, and funny, and awesome!
Dave was an incredibly patient husband and father. He never gave up on any of us. His warmth and humor have steered his family through the years. We will never recover from his loss.
Dave leaves behind his wife, Joyce; his wonderful sons, Cody (Melissa), Ryan, and Tucker; and his grandchildren, Alice and Owen.
Special thanks to Donna Ferry and Delia Jobst who helped Joyce cope as Dave left this life.
