David Wayne Ingham ,66, passed peacefully at his home in Middleburg, Thursday, February 17, 2022 after extended illness.  David was born October 22, 1955 and raised on the Trout River in Jacksonville, son of the late Herbert Ingham and Patricia “Ann” Alsup.

He is a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1972. David was a devoted father to his son, Josh.

David was Baptist by faith. He made many friends throughout his life, some of which remained by his side until his farewell from life on earth…“Row gently my friend” PEACE be with you!

David was an enthusiastic fisherman after his father and loved saltwater fishing best. “If you wanna talk, talk fishin, wella’ guess that’ll be okay.” David was very caring, humble and supportive of others, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a short man in stature, but carried a huge heart. He prospered as part of the fresh fish and seafood market success in Jacksonville, working for himself and various local others for over forty years. David owned his own seafood business for many years inside of the Premier Meats Food and was affectionately called the “Fishman” by his customers. He enjoyed serving in the fishing industry and was well known for his kindness to his customers.

His all-time favorite music artist were Jacksonville natives, “Lynyrd Skynyrd”.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; his one and only beloved sister Karen Ingham Gibson; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his cherished only son, Joshua David Ingham; the mother of his only child, Camille Kittle; longtime friend, caretaker and ex-wife, Cassandra Michelle; beloved girlfriend and caretaker, Lydia Robinson; grandson, Corey Patrick Ingham; granddaughter, Hailey Marie Ingham; and his #1 K9 companion “Rusty” and a host of cousins, friends and relatives. He will be missed by all.
