David Warren McCartney, age 53, of Flemington, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Grafton, January 7, 1957, son of the late Guy Ray and Ellen Virginia Post McCartney. He is survived by a brother; Earl R. McCartney of Flemington, three cousins; Mary Ellen Swortz, Shelly S. Gardner, and Wilda S. Berg all of Steven City, Virginia. David graduated from Flemington High School Class of 1976. He was working for Petroleum Development Corp in Bridgeport as a Roustabout in the oil and gas field. He was a farmer raising mostly cattle and enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved deer hunting.
