David W. Williams passed away May 26, 2011 in Hospice of Branford CT. He is survived by his partner /spouse of 22 years, Tim Garrison, his stepson, Nathan Garrison, brothers Richard Williams (Albany, NY), Lawrence Williams (Seaford, NY) and sister Theresa DePinto (Valley Stream, NY), nephews David and Brian Williams and nieces Laura, Emily (Williams), Michelle, Debra and Mary ( DePinto). David was born in Valley Stream, New York and excelled at several careers in his life time, succeeding with accolades in each of his endeavors. As a teacher, David taught biology at Carrigan Middle School in West Haven, CT; holding that position until 1969. David entered the Roman Catholic priesthood in 1979 and studied at The American College in Rome, where he assisted Pope John Paul II with the celebration of Mass on several occasions at St. Peter’s Cathedral while attaining a Master’s degree in theology.
