On the evening of May 20, 2021, David Walter Strangfeld passed away in Idaho Falls as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. David spent his 31 years on this earth living life on his terms and dreaming dreams as high as the planes he loved.
David was born on May 16, 1990 to Steve and Lisa Strangfeld.
You always knew when David was in the room. He was loud and the center of the party. He could get even the biggest grump to smile, and his niece and nephews would be laughing and screaming the minute he came around. You also knew when Dave had been around because the ice cream and other treats had not-so-mysteriously disappeared. He had a wide range of friends, but his brother, Mike, was his best friend, and the one who truly understood him. His parents, siblings, and extended family thought the world of him. We wanted nothing more than to see him accomplish his many lofty goals. Finally, if you knew Dave you knew his kitty fur babies. They were his life and support during hard times.
David is survived by his parents, Steve and Lisa (Kramer) Strangfeld of Idaho Falls; siblings Mike of Pocatello, Stevie (Nick) Croft of Idaho Falls, and Braden of Idaho Falls; his adoring niece and nephews Landon, Eliza, and Harrison; and many extended family and dear friends.
