David W. Silfee of Philadelphia, formerly of Bethlehem, went to his Heavenly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He was a graduate of Freedom High School, Swarthmore College and Arcadia University, and inspired students as an English teacher in Philadelphia. Survivors: David will be sadly missed by his family and friends, wife Deborah James of Philadelphia, PA; children Megan, Daniel and Juli Silfee; mother Marilynn Silfee of Bethlehem, PA; and sisters Susan Silfee of Jasper, Alabama and Joan Singleton and her husband Christopher Singleton of Hershey, PA. David was predeceased by his father, Donald W. Silfee.
