David W. Sawyer, 36, of Washington, passed away Sunday July 13, 2014 at 1:34 PM at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born March 13, 1978 in Ft. Wayne, IN the son of William H. & Bertha E. Bowers Sawyer.
He was a truck driver and was a member of the National Rifle Assn. He married Dawn L. Sinclair on March 20,1998 and they made their life together for 16 years.
He attended Bicknell 1st Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Dawn L. Sawyer, Washington, IN, his children, Miranda Harrell of Bicknell, IN, Candice Sawyer and David “RW” Sawyer both of Washington, IN. His mother, Bertha E. Sawyer of Washington, IN, a brother Michael Andi of Vincennes, IN.
